Things to know when putting on a show?
My band (rock band in high school) is ready to put in our first show, I just want everything from how to advertise, how to plan the actual concert, the choice of a playlist, and entertain the crowds. We played in mostly classic rock (U2, The Beatles, WHO) and some bruising. Furthermore, how can we find a place for concerts? Just please tell me everything need to know about the whole process of a concert
I had a lot of concerts at home and elsewhere. From all the experience we had, everything you can do is to put a good show. The crowd is a different thing in itself. You can not control and can not really do much to entertain them. Especially because, theyre usually drunk and therefore can not tell the difference between good music and bad music, and basically, if the crowd had a good time, theyll have a good time to listen, and the same. I did some fireworks inside my house before, and cool for a minute, but be careful because the place was filled with smoke, odors and we to evacuate only to allow the exit of the wind. Have plenty of beer is one of the best things you can do. online advertising, to brochures. If you are in the school, just put in some guitar hero near the stage and Twister play or something. For a demonstration, just talk to the club owner, and if you can answer touring bands on myspace, we ask you to come by to play.
On our way to the U2 concert
