When children are small, easy to control the type of music they hear. Generally, children hear what their parents do. Parents can choose to listen to music written specifically for children, but other times, the family can listen to whoever made the last station stereo.
The question is: Rock music is safe for children?
Almost all the best best-selling albums of all time is Rock. But is this genre, "rebel" music has a positive or negative impact on children and society?
As with the story of all, There are many advantages and disadvantages.
The fact is: The rock is an art form that encourages creativity and expression. Many lyrics lyrics the songs are very poetic and send messages to adults. A major message from these days the music world is changing.
In 1985, Live Aid has been done by many rock musicians U2 Black Saturday. Having scored over 232 million dollars for famine relief in Ethiopia and was inspired by the song 'Tide Is Turning' by Roger Waters of Pink Floyd.
Even today, many groups put on the benefits of a large number of causes. Several bands have toured Iraq to perform for our troops overseas. It also benefits many rock concerts are to raise money after the 9.11 attacks, Hurricane Katrina and the earthquake in the Indian Ocean in 2004.
The groups also promote Christianity in his music, especially in this day and age. Popular bands like POD, Flyleaf, Pillar, and many others, widely and openly promoting religion through his music. Other groups, such as Breaking Benjamin and Chevelle, subtly promote through his poetry and abstract.
In view of his generosity to both talent and money, is clear that many artists have chosen to spread the joy. Are there other benefits?
Music in general, and the rock, can inspire children to pick up a healthy hobby of playing music. Learning an instrument allows a child to find a form of creativity that can be expressed in unimaginable amounts. Even if you become the icon next to it, enjoying the music can often give the listener or reader an outlet for emotional problems or traumatic events such as the Life moves on.
However, like all good things, inevitably, is the bad guy.
Many artists express their feelings through metaphors and morbid and perverse dark talk about taboo subjects. These artists have an impressive talent that people should be open to, but not only for children.
Parent notification is not always trusted. For example, the song "Digital Bath" and "Lhabia 'of Deftones talks about a gruesome acts Daydream melancholy, acted out of boredom. This album has no advice for parents on everything. However, this same group of songs against drugs, racism, and other positive influences, but not for young children.
As for the RIAA is trying to help, not the parents of America.
As our children begin to discover your own taste in music, parents should supervise the content and words. Perhaps your son has found a singer or group who truly love. You've heard the song and approve. Make sure to buy this CD, if you listen carefully all the songs or just buy the piece that you have approved.
Rock seems to be the most controversial but also has many positive influences that must be taken into consideration. Some negative aspects that accompany it, and be filtered by the parents.
As the family and society, we do not want record companies or anyone else also decide what they consider appropriate or not. We are privileged to make this decision. We appreciate your contribution, therefore labeling. But when it comes to this, are the parents, take responsibility for what our children are connected to their ears.
So the next time your child wants to hear a song they like, rather than immediately reject, listen with both ears. You learn much of what your child likes and dislikes. You will understand better the thought of her son. Also learn what your child strongly deny.
